Service Description

Stress, low mood, and poor sleep rarely appear on their own. They reinforce each other in a cycle that’s difficult to shift through willpower alone—which is why acupuncture, working from the inside out, can be so effective. What your session includes Whole-person consultation We take a holistic view, treating you as a whole rather than a list of symptoms. Particular focus is given to the subtle “sub-health” patterns many clinics miss—low energy, disrupted sleep, tension, and low mood that may not show up on tests but still shape how you feel daily. Restoring balance here is key to improving overall quality of life. Targeted acupuncture treatment Your treatment focuses on four connected goals, each helping to break the cycle: • Restoring baseline energy • Reducing stress and anxiety • Improving sleep quality • Addressing underlying sub-health patterns Scalp and head massage Each session includes 5–10 minutes of scalp and head massage to release built-up tension. It’s often the most memorable and deeply relaxing part. What to expect Acupuncture doesn’t remove stress from your life—that’s not realistic. Instead, it helps your body and mind respond differently, so the same pressures feel more manageable. Many patients feel calmer and more energised after the first session, with effects lasting from a day to a week. Lasting change comes with consistency. With regular treatment, patients often notice: • Greater resilience to stress and daily demands • A steadier, more grounded sense of self • Stronger physical and mental wellbeing Recommended frequency: weekly for the first month, then biweekly as symptoms improve. How it works Acupuncture is an evidence-based therapy that creates measurable changes in stress and sleep regulation: • Moves the body out of “fight or flight” into rest-and-recover mode • Lowers cortisol while increasing serotonin and dopamine • Enhances melatonin and GABA to support deeper sleep • Supports brain recovery in low mood by restoring protective factors like GDNF
